When the teaser of 'Saakini Daakini' was released, we were told that the film is an ode to women. This remake of a Korean drama titled 'Midnight Runners' promises more through its trailer.

If its situational comedy is not over-the-top, its action blocks could well be entertaining. The Shotgun (Regina) and the Demon (Nivetha) go all out when a night changes their lives. They implement their police academy lessons in taking on the human trafficking mafia that is kidnapping girls in the town.

RJ Hemanth, Kabir Duhan Singh, and others have different roles.

Mikey McCleary and Richard Prasad have taken care of music and cinematography, respectively. With Akshay Poolla writing dialogues and adapted screenplay, the thriller has editing by Viplav Nyshadam. Art Direction is by Gandhi Nadikudikar.

Produced by Suresh Productions, Guru Films, and Kross Pictures Film, the Sudheer Varma directorial is going to be released on September 16.
