A promo video of ‘NOTA’ is out. Against the backdrop of the song ‘Hey Minister’, the Rowdy Chief Minister (Vijay Deverakonda) is seen having been drugged by his sinister rivals. Will that cost him his ‘Kurchi’? Does he have a Plan B? That we will know this Friday, when the political thriller releases amid fanfare.
Starring also Sathyaraj and Nasser, the much-awaited drama has Mehreen Pirzada playing the heroine. Its story is by Shan Karuppasamy. The film has reportedly done a pre-release theatrical business of Rs. 25 Cr.
Directed by Anand Shankar, this one is coming after ‘Geetha Govindam’ became Tollywood’s biggest hit of the year (so far) in terms of Return on Investment. Deverakonda is therefore carrying the burden of high expectations. Meanwhile, the film’s premieres in the US are receiving a good response in terms of advance bookings.
