Last year, actor Vishnu Vishal was seen in the thriller Ratsasan, directed by Ramkumar who had previously directed Mundasupatti with the actor. Ratsasan was one of the biggest hits of 2018 and was a comeback for Vishnu Vishal.
Also starring Amala Paul and Saravanan, the movie was about an aspiring director turned police officer who hunts a psycho killer and had music by Ghibran. Recently, Vishnu Vishal had expressed his disappointment on Ratsasan not getting any awards.
Now Ratsasan has won 4 awards – Best picture, Best Thriller, Best actor and Best Score in the LAFA Los Angeles Film awards 2019. Before a month, Ratsasan had won another international award at the Los Angeles theatrical release competition and awards LATCA.
