It was Wonder Wednesday as far as the Thalapathy Vijay fans are concerned as there were not one but two official announcements on ‘Thalapthy 64’, It was confirmed that Shantanu Bhagyaraj is playing a pivotal role and that Malavika Mohanan is the leading lady.
Malavika who debuted in Tamil playing a small but significant role Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ is obviously on cloud nine and gushed on the internet “Super excited to act with the one and only Thalapathy Vijay” and thanked director Lokesh Kanagaraj and producer Jagadish for the opportunity.
Malavika has further elucidated that her role is a full-fledged one in ‘Thalapathy 64’ that she has never done before and will be her first solo heroine venture in Tamil. The ‘Beyond the Clouds’ heroine has stated that she is a huge fan of Thalapathy Vijay and never dreamt that she would be romancing him.
‘Thalapathy 64’ has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Philomin Raj. The stellar starcast list reads Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Shantanu Bhagyaraj and Antoney Varghese Pepe. The pooja has been conducted today and shooting is set to begin after Ayudha Pooja.
