Rashmi Gautam argues over being a 'privileged Brahmin'

In a heated Twitter exchange with a social media user, Rashmi Gautam has waded into certain contentious issues over caste privilege. It all began when the 'Jabardasth' anchor didn't agree with being seen as a privileged upper-caste person by a Twitter user.
"I have no clue why this hate puking being (referring to her troll) keeps calling me PRIVILEGED UPPER CASTE. Yes, I'm a Brahmin but what privileges do we have that this being keeps ranting about. Yes, we do live a minimalist life which keeps us grounded and safe in rainy days, which is also known as planning (sic)," Rashmi tweeted.
"I have never come across an upper CASTE colony and never lived in one either. The world has moved on from where to where. High time people stopped playing the CASTE card and treating it as a solution to every argument (sic)," she said when the Twitter user asked her to get out of the cocoon and go see the world where some disadvantaged cate groups are condemned to live in ghettos.
"I won't deny there are issues but Twitter ranting won't help and nor will it change my position. You are responsible for your life. Blaming me won't help you," Rashmi added.
The exchange became typical and predictable after a point.
