'Nerkonda Paarvai', Thala Ajith's next biggie after 'Viswasam' is officially in shooting mode continuously till mid-April.  The film is the remake of the Bollywood hit 'Pink' and is directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor.  Ajith is playing the aged lawyer portrayed by Amitabh Bachan in the original while Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Adhik Ravichandran and others are in the cast.

Popular journalist and television personality Rangaraj Pandey is reportedly playing the lawyer of the villains which was done by Piyush Mishra in 'Pink'.  In a recent interaction with college students, Pandey has stated that he still does not know why the filmmakers approached him for the role while many good actors are available in Tamil cinema and whether he is a good choice will only be known when 'Nerkonda Paarvai' hits the screens.

Rangaraj Pandey has added that film acting is not his goal in life but accepted the role since god gave him the opportunity and has given his best shot.  He conceded that he never says no to anything that comes his way in life and tries to put his best foot forward.
