Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao is said to be in talks for a film in which he will play the lead man's role. The legendary director, who has wielded the megaphone for more than 100 movies, is said to be happy about launching himself as an actor with the untitled project that has been designed by a well-known production house.
Reports have claimed that three yesteryear star actresses have been approached to play other leading roles in the entertainer. If one is Ramya Krishna, the other two are Trisha Krishnan and Shriya Saran. The director has worked with all of them previously.
The rumour is quite unusual and it has to be seen whether the project will go through. Raghavendra Rao debuting as an actor will be special, given that he is known to be quite reticent and camera-shy. Appearing on TV for a program over the years seems to have helped him become camera-savvy.
In another news, Raghavendra Rao recently announced a sequel to 'Pelli Sandadi'. It will be produced by Arka Media Works in association with RK Film Associates and stars Roshan (son of Srikanth) as the male lead.
