Kajal Aggarwal Cast as Mandodari in Upcoming Ramayana Film

Renowned Hindi film director Nitesh Tiwari is currently directing an epic movie based on the Ramayana. This grand project is being made in two parts and features top actors in lead roles. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi takes on the role of Sita, and Yash appears as Ravana. Sunny Deol has been cast as Hanuman. The ensemble cast also includes Rakul Preet Singh and Lara Dutta in important roles.

The film is being produced on a massive scale and will be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Recently, popular South Indian actress Kajal Aggarwal has joined the cast. She will portray Mandodari, the wife of Ravana. Initially, another actress was considered for this role, but the team chose Kajal due to her strong fan base in South India.

The first installment of this much-awaited film is scheduled for release during the Diwali festival next year.
