Huge! Rajinikanth teams up with a young director for Thalaivar 169

Thalaivar Rajinikanth still proves to be a superhero in the Tamil film industry with 168 films in all languages. Superstar enjoys a massive fan base of all age groups and his films are celebrated like festivals all throughout the world.

Rajini was last seen in the film Annaatthe with Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Kushboo and Meena playing pivotal roles while many were waiting for the updates of his next we hear that the Enthiran star is all set to join hands with Nelson Dilip Kumar of Doctor fame.

He will be teaming up with Nelson Dilipkumar for a feature film that goes on floors this Summer. “Rajinikanth and Nelson are teaming up next for a feature film. It’s a typical Nelson Dilipkumar Film that’s high on content with quirky elements in the screenplay. The entire team is excited to take the film on floors by April end/Early May,” revealed a source close to the development, adding further that the film in question will see a theatrical release in the window of December 2022 to February 2023.

“An official announcement is round the corner with a special video. The film is produced by Sun Pictures with Anirudh on board to do the music and background score,” the source added. The yet to be named169th film of Thalaivar will be shot over a period of five to six months at multiple locations based on the COVID-19 scenario. On the other hand, Nelson directorial ‘Beast’ got a massive update yesterday and the film is gearing up fr the releae.
