Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's getup has been a talking point in all of his film and the dedicated actor takes phenomenal efforts to sport the apt getup that will suit the character in each of the films.

Kamal Haasan had sports a never seen before rugged getup in his upcoming film 'Thoongavanam'. When Indiaglitz quizzed how and why the getup was selected, this is what the film's director Rajesh.M.Selva had to say.

"I wanted a look that will be rugged as well as stylish. This is a great combination.A few years back Kamal sir went to a press meet regarding a protest by artists for an issue affecting Tamil people. He was wearing light grey shirt and a small titanium chain. He was sporting a beard and mustache. I collected the still of that press meet from newspapers and kept it with me. Once the the project was finalized I showed that photo to him and said that it can be his look for 'Thoongavanam'. He immediately said okay and started preparing for it. "
