Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who recently made the headlines after removing her surname ‘Jonas’ from all her social media handles, has reacted to rumours claiming she and her husband Nick Jonas were heading for a divorce.

Days after Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra had rubbished the rumours, the actress has now put an end to the speculations. On being asked about the reason behind removing the surname, Priyanka reportedly informed ETimes, “I don’t know. I wanted the username to match my Twitter, I guess. I just find it really amusing that everything becomes such a huge deal to people. It’s social media, guys. Just chill out!”

Reacting to the reports, one of Priyanka’s friends was earlier quoted as saying, “These divorce rumours are all amusing. Priyanka is using her first name because she wants to use that in her future projects. There is no truth to any other speculation. Also, she’s not only dropped ‘Jonas’ but ‘Chopra’ as well on social media.” Priyanka and Nick tied the knot at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in December 2018 in two different wedding ceremonies.
