Pranitha Subhash will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Dvegn in the forthcoming film, Bhuj: The Pride of India. The Attarintiki Daredi star will be seen in the role of Ajay Devgn’s wife in the war drama.

The actress is quick to point that although she plays a conservative role, it has a new spin. “Earlier too I got several offers in Hindi, but I did not take them up. But what I like about this film is that it is based on true incidents. So I have a better scope for greater audience connect to my role,” shares Pranitha, who further talks about her role in the Abhishek Dudhaiya directorial.

“While I played bubbly and chirpy roles in my south films, I never played a homemaker. I can’t talk much about my role, but I can tell you the interesting aspect of my role in this film is the emotional depth it has,” Pranitha explains, adding that working with Ajay Devgn has been a great experience.

“Having worked with Ajay sir for a brief time I can tell you he is a relaxed co-star, and always composed. I am a big fan of his work, and I told him how many times I saw his films. He has a calming effect, and his mere presence on the sets makes everyone look sorted,” raves the Brahmotsavam actress.

Prod the Pranitha on what her next Telugu film would be, and she replies, “I have been listening to a few scripts and in talks with filmmakers, but I haven’t finalised any project as yet,” she signs off.
