Actress Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya Divorce: 4-Year Marriage Ends

Famous film actress Hansika Motwani has officially divorced her husband, Sohael Khaturiya. The Bandra Family Court in Mumbai approved their divorce today (March 11, 2026).

The Journey from Marriage to Separation Hansika and businessman Sohael Khaturiya were long-time friends. Their wedding took place on a grand scale in December 2022 at the Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Notably, their wedding festivities were released as a documentary series titled Love Shaadi Drama.

However, it appears that differences arose between the two shortly after marriage. They had been living separately since July 2024 and eventually approached the court for divorce by mutual consent.

Based on the petition filed in court, a few key reasons have emerged:It is reported that there were fundamental differences in their temperaments and lifestyles, leading to minor issues escalating into major arguments.Despite several rounds of mediation by family and friends, the couple was unable to reconcile.Both parties ultimately decided that a legal separation was the best path forward.

A significant aspect of this divorce case is that Hansika Motwani did not seek any alimony or compensation from her husband. Sources suggest she took this decision as she prefers to remain independent through her own career and hard work.

“Marriage is my private life, but I will always continue to entertain you as an artist,” Hansika had previously mentioned in an interview.

Currently, Hansika is focusing entirely on her film career. She has several projects lined up in Tamil, and fans have been expressing their support for her across social media platforms.
