Young Rebelstar Prabhas is leaving no stone unturned to ace the mythological character of Lord Rama in his upcoming pan-Indian film Adipurush (2022).
The Baahubali actor has been striving to hone his language skills and has hired a special diction trainer to get into the skin of the character. According to a source, he is rehearsing on the sets and also spending a lot of time interacting with his friends in Mumbai. That’s not all, Prabhas, who also has a strong liking for archery — thanks to the Baahubali franchise, is boosting his skills to shoot arrows. He is also going for an extreme body transformation and is on a strict diet and a fitness regime to reach the desired goal. It is learnt that Prabhas has hired a fitness trainer and is carrying his own gym equipment to the sets of Adipurush to attain a leaner look.
Meanwhile, a new schedule of Adipurush has commenced at a popular studio in Mumbai earlier this week. Director Om Raut has been shooting a high-octane action sequence on Prabhas and we hear the actor is enjoying every bit of it on the sets. Produced on a mammoth budget of Rs 400 crore, the film is being made in 3D in Hindi and Telugu and will also be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and several other foreign languages. The mythological epic also features Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and the makers are tossing up a few names of the actresses to play Sita.
The story of Adipurush is an adaptation of Ramayana that revolves around the triumph of good over evil.
