Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta' is doing extraordinary business in the overseas market and Malik Streams who owns the rights has officially confirmed that the collections so far excluding India is 65 Crores. He has stated that all the distributors are super happy and more collections are expected in the coming days.

Already Tirupur Subramaniam in the presence of director Karthik Subbaraj has made it official that 'Petta' will touch the magical 100 Crore mark in Tamil Nadu alone on Sunday the 20th which will be the eleventh day since the film released. Sun Pictures has claimed that 'Petta' is the fastest to 100 Crores in Tamil cinema history.

'Petta' that has Anirudh's musical score comprises of the dream cast of Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Trisha and Simran among others.
