Earlier this week, Prakash Raj described Pawan Kalyan as a chameleon who keeps changing his political allegiances. He pointed out that Power Star first supported the BJP in 2014, only to sever ties with it before the 2019 elections. Months later, however, the same Jana Sena allied with the BJP.
Naga Babu, Pawan's elder brother and a member of Jana Sena, has defended his party against Prakash Raj's comments. He said that the alliances are struck with a long-term view keeping public good and political future in mind.
The Mega Brother then said that Prakash Raj's political illiteracy was on display when he debated Dr. Subramanian Swamy, the BJP leader. "When Swamy was taking you to cleaners, you were tongue-tied. If you believe that BJP or Jana Sena is doing something wrong, do criticize. At the same time, when they get something right, you have to appreciate them," Naga Babu wrote.
He added that the country needs BJP and Andhra Pradesh needs Jana Sena for development.
Getting personal, Naga Babu said that Prakash Raj has caused inconvenience to cine producers in the name of demanding remuneration and not honouring call sheets.
