Renowned Tamil lyricist Na. Muthukumar, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 41 due to health complications, had penned over a thousand songs during his career. He was one of the leading lyricists in Tamil cinema, leaving a lasting impact through his meaningful and heartfelt lyrics.
To honor his memory on what would have been his 50th birthday, a special music concert is being organized on July 5 at the YMCA Grounds in Nandanam, Chennai. The event will pay tribute to his contributions to the music and film industry.
Music directors and playback singers who collaborated with Na. Muthukumar throughout his career are expected to participate in the event. The concert is being organized by the company ACIDC in association with the Welfare Core Committee.
The celebration aims to remember Na. Muthukumar’s poetic legacy and his influential role in Tamil music.
