Lady superstar Nayanthara captivated the Tamil audience with her versatile roles this year. She was seen as the fun-loving Kanmani in the rom-com, 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal', the caring mother Parvathy in the survival thriller, 'O2', and the grief-stricken mother Susan in the arresting horror, 'Connect'.
Today, the actress released an official statement thanking everyone for their love and support. Actor Kayal Devaraj shared Nayan's press release on his social media page and it went viral among her fans and followers. On the film front, she is working on her Bollywood debut, 'Jawan', which alsso stars Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Atlee. The statement says:
"It's been an eventful year for me and I'm filled with gratitude. Thank you to all film lovers and fans who have watched and supported our 'Connect.' And my gratitude to those who continue doing so, booking your tickets and enjoying show after show.
It's a genre specific film and we have strived to do justice to you, the audience and the genre. Our entire team has worked with utmost conviction and sincerity with this vision in mind.

me and being with me every step of the way. Your filmmaking is world class and
I'm always happy to collaborate.
