L2E: Empuraan Will Have A Massive Release on IMAX

Mohanlal starrer L2E: Empuraan is one of the most exciting movies in the coming days. Prithviraj Sukumaran directs the film. The movie gears up for a grand release on March 27, 2025. There are huge expectations for the project already. Now, the team has announced that the film will be having an IMAX release, promising audiences a larger-than-life cinematic experience.

Mohanlal made the official announcement that the film will have a release on IMAX. “It gives us immense pride to announce that #L2E #Empuraan will be the first-ever film from the Malayalam cinema industry to release on IMAX. We hope this is the beginning of a long and illustrious association between IMAX and Malayalam cinema. Watch the spectacle unfold on IMAX screens across the world in selected markets from 27/03/2025!” he tweeted.

L2E: Empuraan was shot in an anamorphic format with a 1:2.8 aspect ratio. The IMAX format will further enhance the movie-watching experience, making it immersive and visually rich.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Abhimanyu Singh, Andrea Tivadar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil, Sachin Khedekar, Nyla Usha, Giju John, Nandhu, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Manikuttan, Aneesh G. Menon, Sshivada, Alexx O’Nell, Eriq Ebouaney, Mikhail Novikov, and Karthikeya Dev in important roles. Game of Thrones fame Jerome Flynn makes his Indian cinema debut with this flick.

Subaskaran, Antony Perumbavoor, and Gokulam Gopalan produced the film under their respective banners Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies. It will have a simultaneous theatrical release in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada.
