Natural Star Nani is eagerly anticipating the theatrical release of his upcoming film ‘Dasara’, which is set to hit theaters on March 30th. In a recent exclusive interview with IndiaGlitz, the actor shared some interesting insights into the making of the film.
According to the ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ actor, director Srikanth Odela narrated the script of the film to Keerthy Suresh for three hours, but she had trouble understanding it. As Nani explained, Keerthy is familiar with the neutral Telugu dialect but is less familiar with the Telangana dialect, which is the director’s native language. Srikanth’s rural background means that his language is rooted in the Telangana dialect, which proved challenging for Keerthy to follow.
Interestingly, Nani only learned of Keerthy’s difficulty understanding the script a full month after the initial narration. When he asked her for feedback, the ‘Mahanati’ actress candidly admitted that she had been unable to make sense of Srikanth’s Telangana dialect.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan. Sathyan Sooryan is its cinematographer.
