The title of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan & director Mani Ratnam's new film was revealed as 'Thug Life' with an astonishing promo video earlier this month. Produced by Red Giant Movies, Raaj Kamal Films and Madras Talkies, this movie also stars Trisha, Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi in key roles.

This project not only marks the reunion of the 'Nayakan' combo but also the reunion of the 'Virumaandi' combo. Yes, it was reported that actress Abhirami will be sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan in Thug Life after 20 years. She confirmed the same in a recent interview and also added that the film will go on the floors in Pongal 2024.

Abhirami said, "I can only tell you that I'm a part of this project. The details regarding my role will be disclosed when the production house announces. I'm proud to be a part of the film. Virumaandi was released on Pongal 2004. This project is going on the floors for Pongal 2024. We are reuniting on the 20th anniversary of our previous film."
