Mega Prince Varun Tej’s highly anticipated film Korean Kanakaraju is progressing at a brisk pace and has now entered its final stage of production. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film is being produced on a grand scale by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment. Mounted on a lavish budget, the movie blends horror and comedy with a refreshing cross-cultural twist set across Indian and Korean backdrops. Varun Tej will be seen in a completely new avatar, unlike any role he has portrayed before.

The team has now begun the final leg of shooting in South Korea, where a crucial one-week schedule has been planned. During this phase, the makers will film songs along with several key scenes that play an important role in the narrative. Varun Tej, Ritika Nayak, and Satya will participate in this schedule, with sequences being shot in vibrant and visually appealing Korean locations.

The film had already generated strong buzz earlier with the title glimpse released on Varun Tej’s birthday.
