The Cauvery Delta Watch allege that ONGC does not have proper licences from the Tamil Nadu Government and is illegally extrating hydro carbon from the Cauvery Delta region. The organization which has environmental activists and citizens of the area as members also claim that they have documental evidence and warn that the company is unprepared for oil well leaks.
