‘I Love You’ is that gifted Upendra film that the makers say has got a positive message for the society. Directed by the critically-acclaimed Sandalwood director R Chandru (who made ‘Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini’ in Telugu), it has Upendra in a quirky role.
The Teaser makes sure the hero’s philosophy on love and transient physical pleasure reaches the audience, at least to an extent. The fights, the colourful songs, those irreverent dialogues – they are all there.
‘Dimple Queen’ Rachita Ram and Sonu Gowda are playing the other lead roles. Our own Brahmanandam has a role.
Musi is by Dr. Kiranthotambylu, while the cinematography is by Sugnan. Mohan B Kere has done art direction. Deepu S Kumar is the editor. Shankar has done the Sound Effects. Dialogues are by the director himself.
