YS Sharmila has moved the needle in Telangana. On Tuesday, she interacted with some YSR loyalists from Nalgonda. Speaking to the media, Sharmila said that she is trying to analyze their suggestions and points. “They are very positive and are confident that Rajanna Rajyam is possible. I might travel to different districts in the near future,” she added.
Amid talk that YS Jaganmohan Reddy has distanced himself from her political decision, Sharmila said, “He is elder to me. I believe his blessings are with me.”
She didn’t categorically say that she will launch a political party. But rumour mills say she is going to do that. “I want to establish Rajanna Rajyam. That’s my strong desire. How to go about it is what I am going to understand in the coming days through meetings and interactions,” Sharmila said.
When a reporter asked her if she thinks Telanganites are unhappy, Sharmila asked, “Are the people happy with the Telangana government?”
