The Forbes celebrity 100 featured the top hundred Indian celebrities, with Indian skipper Virat Kohli topping the list, beating Salman Khan who was in the top spot the last three years.

Salman Khan dropped down to the third spot while Akshay Kumar claims the second spot. While a total of 13 south Indian stars featured in the list, 8 among them are Kollywood celebrities. Superstar Rajinikanth tops the list at the 13th position, while Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is placed in the 16th position. Following him is Thalapathy Vijay at the 47th place, and Thala Ajith, who was not featured in the list last year, has made it to the 52nd spot.

Director Shankar, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, and 'Petta' director Karthik Subbaraj claim the 55th, 56th, 64th, and 84th spots, respectively. Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are the first two women to be featured in the top 10.
