We broke the news much earlier to you that director Shankar's eldest daughter Aishwarya, who is a doctor is getting married today to a cricketer who is the captain of the Puducherry Cricket Team, Rohit (29) her life partner is the son of Damodharan, the owner of the Madurai Panthers (a TNPL Premier League side).

The wedding of Aishwarya and Rohit was conducted today (June 27th) near Mahabalipuram and the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister attended the event and wished the young couple.  Shankar, who is known for his extravagant and unparalleled grandeur in his films has apparently entrusted art director Muthuraj to build a grand set for the wedding which has left the celebrity guests awestruck. The duo has collaborated in four films 'Nanban', 'I', '2.0' and 'Indian 2'.

It is said that considering the COVID 19 pandemic situation only a few very important guests have been invited that includes politicians, businessmen and film industry celebrities.  

Professionally Shankar's upcoming projects include 'Indian 2', the Anniyan Hindi remake starring Ranveer Singh, and Ram Charan Teja's new multilingual flick produced by Dil Raju.
