Karthi has three films - Viruman, Ponniyin Selvan part 1 and Sardar lined up for theatrical release in the upcoming months. Among them, 'Sardar' is an espionage thriller film directed by PS Mithran and produced by Prince Pictures, which is slated to hit the screens this Diwali.

Now, the latest news is that Karthi starrer Sardar has entered the post-production stage. The film's director PS Mithran took his social media this evening to share a fun clip from the actor's dubbing session. In the video, Mithran asks Karthi to recite a certain dialogue in 'Nayakan' Kamal Haasan style but Karthi replies that he will dub it in a way that's best for him.

Sardar stars Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey as the villain opposite Karthi and Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan as the heroines. The supporting cast includes Muniskanth, Rithvik, Murali Sharma, Ilavarasu and Laila making a comeback after several years. GV Prakash is scoring the music, George C Williams handles the camera and Ruben the editing.
