Vijay Sethupathi grew so popular as an actor that many want to cast him in their films but the actor doesn’t want to be a typecast. Post his villain avatar in Rajnikanth’s Petta, he is getting more offers to play villain in other star hero films too.
He accepted Uppena in Telugu and Thalapathy Vijay’s Master in Tamil. But he is not ready to do an antagonist role in Tamil for Sukumar’s Pushpa.
According to few reports, the actor accepted the offer to play antagonist in Pushpa in other language versions of the film opposite Allu Arjun except Tamil. He said that his Tamil market could get affected by acting villain roles in many films while he has established himself as a hero.
So, Sukumar is looking to take another actor for Tamil version and shoot with Vijay Sethupathi in Telugu. Will that be a viable choice? Did Vijay Sethupathi actually put forth such a request? Only team can confirm it. But no one available to comment about it.
