We already broke to you that Aishwarya Rajinikanth's multilingual album song landed on the internet this evening. The music video, 'Payani', sung by Anirudh with music by Ankit Tiwari had gone viral on the internet. Now, Aishwarya's ex-husband Dhanush has reacted to her latest directorial work.

Superstar Rajinikanth's elder daughter Aishwarya got hitched to the talented actor Dhanush back in 2004 with whom she has two sons, Yatra (born 2006) and Linga (born 2010). The couple decided to end their almost 19-year-long-marriage and announced their separation through their respective social media handles on 17 January 2022.

Today, Dhanush took to his Twitter page to pen a short wish for Aishwarya's latest music album. The leading actor wrote, "Congrats my friend @ash_r_dhanush on your music video #payani God bless" (sic). It seems that the two still maintain a good friendship though they parted ways. Notably, Aishwarya mentioned Dhanush's brother Selvaragahvan as 'Athaan' while wishing him on his acting debut film.

'Payani' album is directed and produced by Aishwarya Rajinikanth with music by Ankit Tiwari of Aashiqui fame. Anirudh has sung the song with lyrics by Viveka. The music video stars the choreographer Jani Master and Shrasti Verma. The song was also released in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
