If Hollywood has it’s celebrated hero -director combination in Robert De Niro- Martin Scorsese, then in our own Kollywood we have the Dhanush-Vetrimaaran combo that churns pure magic and box office windfall ever time they get together. After their ‘Polladhavan’ and ‘Aadukalam’ the duo are back with ‘Vada Chennai’ hitting the screens on October 17th with an ensemble cast that includes Ameer, Andrea, Aishwarya Rajesh, Kishore, Daniel Balaji and Samuthirakani.
‘Vada Chennai’ is planned as a trilogy but before the release of the next part Dhanush and Vetrimaaran are joining hands for another movie that starts principle photography later this month. The Maverick director has adapted his screenplay from a novel ‘Vekkai’ written by Poomani which is a revolutionary subject and is said to have Dhanush in a mass Avatar. More details about this super exciting project will be out soon.
