The fan favourite combo: Dhanush-Selavaraghavan merged forces after a decade for the highly anticipated 'Naane Varuvean'. Produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu, the film is expected to hit the screens on September 29. It has a story written by Dhanush himself with Selvaraghavan appearing in a minor role.

The makers announced last evening that the 'Naane Varuvean' teaser will be launched tomorrow (September 15). The post-production works and pre-business works are progressing at a brisk phase. Now, the latest update is that the movie will have a simultaneous release in Telugu. Also, the Telugu dubbed version is titled 'Neynay Vasthunnaa'.

The Telugu theatrical rights of 'Naane Varuvean' for the entire Andhra Pradesh have been acquired by the prestigious production house Geetha Arts. Allu Arvind's Geetha Arts, which has produced a few Tamil films including Rajinikanth starrer 'Mappillai' and several Telugu films, has acquired the Telugu release rights of 'Neynay Vasthunnaa'.

Dhanush will be seen playing dual roles in the film - a young one and a middle-aged one. Elli AvrRam and Indhuja are playing the leading ladies in the movie. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the musical score for 'Naane Varuvean' with cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
