The much-awaited third installment of the Drishyam franchise is officially on its way. Headlined by Mohanlal and helmed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam 3 is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on May 21, with the recently unveiled teaser already creating strong buzz among fans.
During a recent Instagram interaction, Jeethu Joseph confirmed that the film will not be limited to Malayalam alone. The Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada dubbed versions will also release simultaneously on the same day, signaling a clear pan-India strategy for the franchise’s conclusion.
Interestingly, unlike the previous installments, there will be no Telugu remake this time. With Venkatesh Daggubati currently occupied with other commitments, plans for a remake have been ruled out. Recognizing this as an opportunity, the makers of the original Malayalam version are opting for a wider dubbed release to directly reach audiences across multiple regions.

Backed by Aashirvad Cinemas and produced by Antony Perumbavoor, the film brings back familiar faces including Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil in pivotal roles. The music is composed by Anil Johnson.
With the franchise known for its gripping storytelling and unpredictable twists, expectations are naturally high for the final chapter. The decision to release Drishyam 3 simultaneously in multiple languages reflects the makers’ confidence in its universal appeal and the strong fan base the series has built over the years.
