Dhanush has been hogging the headlines across all medias not only in India but the world over ahead of the release of his Hollywood debut 'The Gray Man'. The Russo Brothers directed Netflix action thriller had a limited release in the USA on July 15th and will begin steaming on the OTT giant from January 22nd.

Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas play the main leads in 'The Gray Man' while Dhanush appears as a lone assassin Avik San in a small but significant role. Critics are already lauding his screen presence and performance while his costars hail him as the best human being they have met so far.

It has now emerged that Dhanush received the salary of 500,000 USD for his appearance in 'The Gray Man'. The amount in Indian rupees works out to about four crores and the unverified info has shocked Dhanush fans who are venting it out on social media. D fans are irked because their idol takes home a salary in excess of rupees fifteen crores for his Tamil films and much more than that for his Telugu and Hindi projects.
