As the world is impacted by the deadly Coronavirus pandemic, which has killed millions and is haunting India as well, with the total number of cases rising close to 70000, there are several other problems other than the virus itself.
With poverty, unemployment, loss of money and jobs and the fall of economy happening globally, another issue prevailing in the society is the stigma against people affected by Coronavirus and the discrimination of people with Corona.
Actress Shruti Haasan has expressed her disappointment on the discrimination of Corona patients and tweeted “Reading all these stories about discrimination against those who are covid positive and suicides due to stigma. It’s sad to see that this pandemic that does not discriminate hasn’t managed to change the insensitive, unkind point of view.”
