Ram Gopal Varma will be conspicuous by his presence at the swearing-in ceremony of Jaganmohan Reddy. The director has been in the news with his anti-TDP and anti-Chandrababu Naidu remarks for a few months now.
“For the first time ever, I am attending a political event – the swearing-in ceremony of Jagan as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Hoping to spot the Ex CM there,” RGV said.
His flick ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ was effectively prevented from release by the intervention of a court in Andhra Pradesh. The film shows how Naidu backstabbed his father-in-law, NT Rama Rao, in a major coup in the mid-1990s.
Amidst speculations that RGV might join YSRCP in the near future, the filmmaker has clarified that he won’t make a political entry in his life.
