When Marvel Studios’ Black Panther was released in 2018, it redefined superhero films in many ways. Apart from introducing a completely new world and culture through the film, the creators also left a mark through its powerful and much-loved villain.
The second instalment of this movie is all set to hit the silver screens on 11.11. 222 and the run time of this film is revealed to be around 2 hours 41 minutes. The film is sure going to be an emotional journey for all Chadwick fans.
It is a known fact that his character was not recast in the film and in a recent interview, Feige said it was ‘much too soon’ to recast Chadwick Boseman‘s role as the world was still mourning his loss. “It just felt like it was much too soon to recast. Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window. And we talked about how, as extraordinary and fantastical as our characters and stories are, there’s a relatable and human element to everything we do. The world is still processing the loss of Chad. And Ryan poured that into the story,” Feige told.
Directed and co-written by Ryan Coogler, the film will see Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Tenoch Huerta, Michaela Coel, and Dominique Thorne in new and reprising roles.
