It is no news that the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy seldom misses a chance to pick harsh criticisms on the Tamil film industry's leading acting giants namely Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan.
Not out of his character, Swamy recently provoked reactions by tweeting on Kamal's recent visit to the Kerela Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's residence. "I hear pompous idiot Kamal Hassan is joining the Communist Party of India (Marxist)," Subramanian Swamy had posted on the micro-blogging platform.
However, some tweeps voiced against Swamy's post saying that joining a particular party was an individual's choice and to call someone an idiot based on their ideological orientation only shows political immaturity.
As Kamal Hassan is not the type of person to feign submission to such comments, it is expected that he will give a fitting reply to Swami's comment.
