The season six of the Tamil version of the popular 'Bigg Boss' reality show is all set to premiere on Vijay TV at 6pm onwards on Sunday the 9th of October. A new video featuring Kamal Haasan in 'Vikram' trailer mode has accompanied the announcement.

The previous five seasons of 'Bigg Boss Tamil' all hosted by the Ulaganayagan have been tremendously successful. It is no exaggeration to say that much like the international and Hindi versions the Tamil version too has rewritten TRP history.

'Bigg Boss Tamil 6' will mark the debut of common people without any background in media or other streams. So far it has been reported that Divyadarshini, Monicka Richard, Rajalakshmi Senthil, Shilpa Manjunath, Roshni Haripriyan, Darsha Gupta, Ashwin Kumar, M.S. Bhaskar, Ravindar Chandrasekharan, Mahalakshmi and Manisha Yadav are in the contestant list. However who make the final cut will only be known during the curtain raiser on October 9th.
