The Teaser for ‘Sye Raa’ has once again made it clear that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ferocious and feisty look in the epic battle drama is inspired by his heavy look in ‘Rikshavodu’. The similarities are uncanny and, at one level, intentional perhaps. This was pointed out by several social media users right when a glimpse was released earlier this year.
Chiru is looking quite heroic in the ‘Sye Raa’ look, whose costumes have been designed, among others, by Sushmitha Konidela. The look was designed keeping the pan-Indian audience in mind. Certain cinematic liberties were taken in the process.
The similarities have become a reason for the “anti-fans” out there to troll the look. They are of the view that Chiru should have tried something new instead of offering old wine in a new bottle.
The legendary actor has done horse-riding and stunt scenes without going for a dupe.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the biopic will release on October 2.
