Anchor Syamala’s husband out on bail, says he will present facts before public

Earlier this week, Lakshmi Narasimha Reddy, the actor-husband of TV anchor Syamala, was arrested in connection with a cheating case. A woman by the name of Sindhura Reddy alleged that he had defrauded her of Rs 1 Cr.

The news is that Reddy is out on bail. In a video statement, he said that he has been dragged into a fabricated case. “I believe in justice. The fact that I got a bail within two days of my arrest says it all. This case is a falsehood. I will come up with facts in two days,” Reddy said in the video.

He thanked everyone who has been supporting him morally in their social media posts. Reddy added that fake allegations are expected, and that he sees a need to refute false rumours about him.

When he was arrested a few days ago, reports said that Reddy had borrowed Rs 1 Cr from Sindhura Reddy in installments since 2017. When the loaner asked him to repay the loan amount, Reddy allegedly resorted to blackmailing. As per the complainant, he even tried to sexually harass her. A female mediator was brought into the picture to convince the loaner to have an amicable settlement with Reddy, it was alleged in the complaint.
