Who is behind the voice of the powerful character Nandhini in Ponniyin Selvan?

Mani Rathnam’s Ponniyin Selvan is all set to hit the silver screens on the 30th of September. While many were eagerly waiting to know who was behind the voice of one of the powerful character Nandhini, played by Aishwarya Rai, Actress and dubbing artist Deepa Venkat has posted a photo and shared her experience dubbing for The Enthiran Actress.

Deepa posted the first look poster of Aish on her Instagram profile and wrote, “What do I say about this? Going to crescent avenue and entering the studio of Madras Talkies is like going home. Warm, friendly faces and fun chats catching up with technicians and staff at the office.”

“Except you don’t know what challenges are waiting for you when you enter the dub suite. But every time I leave this studio, overwhelmed and with a sense of fulfillment. Being part of films like Kannathil Muthamittaal, Guru, Cheliya( Telugu version of Kaatru Veliyidai), Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (tamil and telugu) and now, PS-1, has enriched me in more ways than I can think of,” she added.

“This is my first one, for the enchanting and deeply committed actor, Aishwarya Rai. I have more to share about her. But that has to be a seperate post. Later:)) Mani sir, I can never thank you enough for this A A A Thanks for all the love, everyone,” Deepa concluded.

Ponniyin Selvan is a period drama directed by Mani Rathnam. The film has an ensemble cast that includes, Vikarm, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Parthiban and many more. The film will hit the cinemas on September 30.
