If you click a random YouTube interview video of any leading actress in the South chances are you will hear them say that their lifelong dream is to share screen space with either Thalapathy Vijay or Ajith or both. Netizens have been left scratching their heads after hearing the unbelievable news that a top actress first refused the female lead role in Ajith's mega hit 'Thunivu' and later Vijay's upcoming biggie 'Leo'.

Now coming to the hot news it is reported that leading Tollywood actress Sai Pallavi was H. Vinoth's first choice for the female lead opposite Ajith in 'Thunivu'. It is said that the doctor turned actress declined the offer stating that she did not want to feature in a typical commercial heroine role where there is less scope for her. The character was eventually played by Manju Warrier who was well received by Ajith fans.

The same reports swear that sensational director Lokesh Kanagaraj also approached Sai Pallavi for the character now played by Trisha in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo'. It is said that this time too she refused citing the same reason. Fans of both Vijay and Ajith are trolling the 30 year old actres citing that she played typical characters with less scope in Dhanush's 'Maari 2' and Suriya's 'NGK'.

However both these reports cannot be taken at face value since neither Vinoth or Lokesh have ever opened up about approaching Sai Pallavi and if at all she refused it could also have been due to date issues. We will have to wait for the Kotagiri born actress to clear the air in her future interviews.

Sai Pallavi is currently committed to play the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan in 'SK 21' produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. She is also said to be in talks to star as Sita in a mega retelling of the Ramayana in which Allu Arjun is said to be playing Ram.
