Actor Sharwanand, one of Telugu cinema's leading heroes has also acted in a few Tamil films including 'Engeyum Eppodhum', 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai' and most recently the bilingual 'Kanam' costarring Amala. A few months back the handsome 39 year old got engaged to Rakshita Reddy a techie from the US who belongs to an influential political family in Andhra Pradesh.

Sharwanand and Rakshitha got married in a grand manner at the Leela Palace in Jaipur to today with close friends and family members in attendance. The pre-wedding events including mehendi and haldi ceremony took place on June 2nd. The groom was pushed into a pool as a fun gesture and the video went viral.

Ram Charan Teja, Ram Pothineni, Siddharth and his girlfriend actress Aditi Rao Hydari, director Vamshi, Vikram, Ashish, Harshit, Hanshitha and many other celebrities attended the wedding. The grand wedding reception of Sharwanand and Rakshita is scheduled to be held on June 9th in Hyderabad.

Sharwanand's next film is 'Sharwa 35' to be directed by Sriram Adittya of 'Hero' fame for which the preproduction work is going on in full swing. The film marks his twentieth year in the film industry.
