YCP leader PVP booked for letting loose dogs on cops

Industrialist, film producer and YSR Congress party leader Prasad V Potluri was recently in the news for allegedly intimidating his neighbour in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills over the construction of a rooftop garden.   Soon after the victim’s complaint, the ‘Maharshi’ producer booked for criminal trespass, intimidation and other offences under the IPC.

Earlier on Monday, Banjara Hills police reportedly went to PVP’s residence to take him into custody.  In order to escape his arrest, PVP allegedly let loose dogs on the cops.  This scared the cops, who ran away from the spot.

Reports say that the SI of Banjara Hills police station has filed a case against PVP under IPC section 353, which deals with “assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty.”

More details about the incident are awaited.
