It’s been ten years since actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj tied the knot with television host Keerthi in 2015. As the couple remains childless, they have been subjected to constant inquiries about starting a family.

In a recent interview, Shanthanu gave a direct and bold response: “People keep asking me, ‘When are you going to have a child?’ My reply is simple—if we do have a child, are you going to raise it?”

He continued, “We’re ready to become parents, but it’s not something others should pressure us about. Don’t take this the wrong way—I’m not trying to be rude—but it’s emotionally exhausting to deal with these constant questions.”

Keerthi also spoke about the emotional toll the questioning has taken. “The pain is ours to bear. It’s stressful when so many people feel entitled to comment on something so personal. We believe that God will bless us with a child when the time is right.”
