Hours after Jana Sena received a drubbing at the hustings, Pawan Kalyan spoke to the media for a brief while. Accepting the people’s verdict, the actor-turned-politician congratulated Jaganmohan Reddy and Narendra Modi.
“We have followed clean politics. We never distributed liquor and money (for votes). We gave tickets to youngsters. I will abide by my principles till my last breath. Jana Sena was formed with the aim of heralding change. Although I have lost from both constituencies, let me tell you all that I will continue to be in politics and serve people till the last breath,” Pawan Kalyan said.
“We have the will to stand for the people. I whole-heartedly thank everyone who has voted for Jana Sena. I thank every activist who worked for the party,” the Jana Sena chief added.
