‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ director Harish Shankar today said that the trailer for ‘Whistle’ (October 25 release) gave him goosebumps. “I am a huge fan of director Atlee’s works. I have liked his films right since ‘Raja Rani’. And his films with Vijay sir have been terrific. Having watched Whistle’s trailer, I can say that all the girls (of the football team in the movie) have done a great job. I also welcome actor Kathir to the Telugu film industry,” Harish said.
“Whistle, I have come to know, carries very high emotional content. I hope it will be appreciated by the entire country. Telugu audience are always favourable toward Tamil films. We believe that cinema itself is a language,” the ‘Gabbar Singh’ director said.
“Being a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan, I am waiting for Atlee to team up with the Bollywood actor next,” he added.
About producer Mahesh Koneru, he said, “I have known him since the days he was a content writer. He went on to become a PRO and is now a producer.”
