Vishal’s ‘Irumbu Thirai’ opens an impressive innings in box office

Vishal’s ‘Irumbu Thirai’ has hit the screens this Friday and people seem to be loving it for director Mithran’s socially relevant content on digitial medium. Here’s the film’s box office performance in the state since three days of its release.

‘Irumbu Thirai’ has managed to reap in about Rs.1.18 cr in Chennai city alone in addition toRs.2.44 cr in Chengalpattu, Rs.1.3 cr in Coimbatore regions. Adding in profits from other regions as well, the total accumulated profits stand at 9.8 crores. 

As of last weekend alone, the film was screened at 14 theatres in Chennai alone with 196 shows reaping  in a profit of Rs.1,18,59,979 with a crowd presence of 90%. So one could say that ‘Irumbu Thirai’ has opened with a iron force in the box office.

The movie directed by Mithran also has Samantha and Arjun in major roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music score for this film. The film has been produced Vishal’s home banner Vishal Film Factory.
