Vijay Sethupathi to team up with a highly acclaimed director

Success brings fortunes may be an adage but it is always true ,especially in film industry. Director Manikandan has become the most wanted name in Kollywood with his maiden film ‘Kakka Muttai’ celebrated as a classic in Tamil cinema apart from doing great business at the box office. The film with lesser known faces in lead roles is also doing well in other states.

Yesterday we reported that Manikandan has already finished shooting his second film with Vidarth in the lead role even before the release of his first film. Titled as ‘Kutramey Dhandanai’ the film can be expected to hit the screens soon.

Now we hear that Vijay Sethupathi has won the competition among the current generation actors to work with Manikandan. Reliable sources reveal that Vijay Sethupathi who has acted in the short films directed by Manikandan shares a good freindship with him and they will soon work together on a film. The ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ actor is also going to fund this project apart from acting in the lead role.

Meanwhile Manikandan has finished the script for another film and titled it as ‘Oru Kidavin Karunai Manu’ )Mercy petition of a goat).
